Corona Virus -
The SSDA has received notification from HQ that camping ceases immediately.
We are monitoring the situation daily and will advise the members as soon as we have any updates of when we can start camping again.
We will be looking for a new treasurer starting in January. Nominations need to be in before the end of October. Please consider taking on this position as it’s a vital position on the committee. You will have the full support of the regional treasurer to help with any training needed. Please contact me asap if your interested. I’d like to thank Dawn Richardson for all her hard work over the last 2 years & hope we still see her out camping with the DA x

Our 2021 DA handbooks are now available. Please contact a committee member if you wish a copy to be posted out to you. Fingers crossed we wouldn’t have to delete any meets next year.

Change of Date of AGM
We have been told we need to change our AGM date for next year. So those people that already have 2021 handbooks the AGM will now be on Saturday 3rd April at 10.30am
We have been advised we need to hold our AGM Virtually. Please contact me if your interested in joining this virtual meeting firstname.lastname@example.org. We have to do this to avoid the DA closing down, so please support us x
The committee have been talking and we know everybody wants to get back camping ASAP. We need to put our members safety first, follow the government guidelines & the clubs rules . Things are changing daily, so the decision on whether to cancel the “Chairmans Ball” will be decided at our committee meeting on 13th February. We have been in contact with the site and their committee may also decide to cancel our booking during these uncertain times. We are not keeping you in the dark about the camping year ahead, we want to get back out on the field as much as you. We will update the Website & Facebook as soon as any decisions are made. Booking Forms for Easter, Reydon and Westhall

If the government/head office allows we plan to open our Easter site as a pop up site. This will be without access to the hall so own sanitation will be required. We can reduce the site fees to £8.50 pupn. This will need to be a booked meet so booking forms are available.
